I guess this is my love letter to @hodderscape/entry for the #HodderscapeContentCreator competition! If you’ve been following me for a while or know me well then you’ll know I’m a sucker for most Hodder books, and when they announced they’d acquired Elizabeth Lim’s books I was over the moon! I just really love the steps the team has been making to actively publish more diverse books and this is just a selection of their 2021 releases that have led me to finding new authors and stories that I’ve loved! 🥰

Plus, I’ll basically take any chance to shout about #JadeFireGold by @junescribbles. It’s been my favourite read of this year and I don’t think I need to say for a millionth time how grateful I am to @readeatretreat and Hodder for this ARC so I could fall in love with it early 😂 but take this as your notice to preorder in the UK because it’s out NEXT THURSDAY! 😆❤️

In terms of older Hodder books? The Hodder backlist is basically golden for me. With the likes of Strange the Dreamer, Caraval AND Girls of Paper and Fire, genuinely I couldn’t fit all of my favourite books from Hodder in one photo. ❤️

AND then there’s 2022. Only a Monster by Vanessa Len is already on my radar and I’m very grateful for the eARC which I’m planning to read in November and then there’s another book I’m fairlyyyy positive I’ll fall in love with as well! (And likely a lot more than that too, Hodder just has great taste!) ❤️

Basically TLDR; Hodder takes all my money but I’m fine with that 😌❤️

I’ve been storing up a few duologies so I can binge read them, one of them is this gorgeous copy of Where Dreams Descend by @janella_angeles! ❤️

My copy of When Night Breaks should hopefully be delivered this week and then pretty soon I’ll be able to read them, but based off the synopsis and everything I’ve heard - I’m going to love it 🥰

When this @illumicrate copy of FBAA was shown in a Live, with these gorgeous stencilled edges… I was kicking myself for not having grabbed it as soon as it went on sale, so I sent an email asking to sign up to the waitlist whilst the Live was on 🥲

And then there were unboxings showing the gorgeous replica here?! So basically when I got an invite to buy it off the waitlist I jumped on it 🥰

For me, it’s got to be this @fairyloot edition of The Blood of Stars duology by @elimpix. Honestly, when it was announced earlier this year that @hodderscape would be publishing the duology in the UK I was SO excited. But I already had the US hardcovers and if I’m honest I’m a bit of a hardcover snob… BUT then FairyLoot announced this one Friday and basically made my entire year! 💖

Featuring the spines today because they just look so gorgeous with the FairyLoot edition of Six Crimson Cranes, but I’ll be taking more photos of this set for sure over the next… well, probably forever. 💜

If you loved Six Crimson Cranes, I’d definitely advise reading Spin the Dawn and Unravel the Dusk. Edan and Maia are just so adorable and who doesn’t want to read a book with magic dresses made from the sun, stars and moon? 🥰

For me the last one was #LittleThieves by @what_eats_owls, and it’s my stop on the blog/Insta tour for it through @tbrbeyondtours today! 💖

Okay so, to sum up my review on my site basically this was a 5-star read for me. I loved the way it was written as a fairytale itself and there was one particular character, Ragne, who seriously stood out to me as ADORABLE. ❤️

If you are, then 100% go out and grab this beautiful book!! I actually took this photo for a blog/Insta tour I’m on tomorrow but my gorgeous finished copy arrived today so I’m using that for it instead 😌
