Happy book birthday to this beautiful book! Thank you to @orbitbooks_uk for my copy 💕 this is my current read and I can definitely see why you’d like it if you’re a fan of Bridgerton! It’s set in a fantasy world where women have to relinquish their magic if they get married... but the main character doesn’t want that and is trying to get around it. I’m really enjoying it so far and hoping to get a full review up at the weekend! The ‘midnight bargain’ itself is a deal with a greedy spirit so if you’re a fan of things like that, this is definitely one to check out! 💕

Latest book review is live on my site! The Unbroken is a great debut adult fantasy that’s gritty and basically is all around the effects of colonialism on groups of people. Within there are emotional conflicts where characters aren’t sure where they belong and it’s got me thinking about it even a few days after I finished it - it really leaves an impression. Also sapphic love within but ultimately the focus is more kind of on found family and belonging and there’s a more eloquent review on my site but TLDR; This is an adult fantasy I really think people should check out!
