AD | The Poster Store products in this post were gifted to me but all opinions are my own.
Hey everyone! Recently, Poster Store got in touch with me to see if I’d be interested in partnering up with them and honestly, as soon as I saw some of the beautiful prints and posters on offer I jumped at the chance. If you’re new here, I love anything in a Japanese style so I decided to pick up some prints that would represent this love. As Japan is somewhere I’d absolutely love to travel to myself one day, it’s great having these on my wall to remind me of that aim.
I ordered six posters and matching frames, and I’m honestly a little in love with how my wall looks now! I went for a few with cherry blossoms in… well, the majority, because I thought they were hands down the prettiest.
I’ve got some close-ups below and more thoughts on the Poster Store!
My Choices
I mostly chose very classic white frames for the posters I picked out, I wanted the art to stand out as much as possible and I feel like that happens a lot more with the white frames? I’m definitely a fan of the look in general. I did try one of the poster hangers too as seen below though, and I absolutely love it! I think it works particularly well with the poster as that doesn’t have the white edge to it like the others. The paper quality really lends itself to the poster hanger also, as it’s 200g premium paper with a matte finish.
When it came to picking posters, it actually didn’t take me too long to think of a theme. I spotted the ‘Deers in Love’ poster below and that gave me the idea to go with cherry blossoms and images of Japan. I’m very happy I did as I love the end result, though there is one outlier to the Japanese theme…
To the left above we have the ‘Streets of Kyoto’ poster, which was an absolute must because it’s one of the cities I’d post like to visit. I love the way that this photographer has made the cherry blossom tree such a key point of the image whilst still capturing the beauty of Kyoto through its architecture.
The deer photo? Probably my favourite. It’s taken in Nara, Japan, and well, I love animals so it has to be one of my favourite picks!
Okay so the cranes image to the right here is the outlier! It’s not a photo taken in Japan, it was actually taken in Sacramento, USA. But this photo, Cranes over Lake, features six cranes and it basically reminds me of a book called Six Crimson Cranes by Elizabeth Lim, which is one of my all-time favourites! Conveniently, I put the poster right next to my Elizabeth Lim book collection too.
The ‘Chureito Pagoda’ poster above is another I adore. It shows off Mount Fuji in the background and it’s just another stunning piece of Japanese architecture!
Technically, this is my third poster of Mount Fuji. But it’s a sight I’d love to see in person so the more the merrier as far as I’m concerned!
Why the Poster Store?
I can definitely see myself ordering again from the Poster Store, if you take a look for yourself you can see that they offer great prices for their products (including the frames) and the quality is exceptionally great for the price tag.
The company has a large selection to choose from, which is also fab if you’re after gifts for people, and they release a new poster collection every Tuesday on top of that!
If you’re someone who likes to mix-and-match, maybe even seasonally with your posters, it’s a great place for creating a feature wall to do that with.
And there’s the posters themselves! Not only are they high-quality, but they’re sustainably produced.
