This month’s OwlCrate box included items inspired by items inspired by The Chronicles of Narnia, Strange the Dreamer, Beauty and the Beast, Harry Potter, Throne of Glass, the book of this month and more. Again, I loved the box! Perfect for bookworms.

The Book
I knew two book boxes I was getting this month would have Sorcery of Thorns in… I got them both anyway. I adored Margaret Rogerson’s An Enchantment of Ravens so much that I knew I’d love it, and since I’ve already read an eARC I know I was 100% correct! OwlCrate’s edition came signed, with a colour change (to purple, my favourite colour!), a sticker and an author letter.
I love it. You can check out my review for it here if you’re interested!
Synopsis
All sorcerers are evil. Elisabeth has known that as long as she has known anything. Raised as a foundling in one of Austermeer’s Great Libraries, Elisabeth has grown up among the tools of sorcery—magical grimoires that whisper on shelves and rattle beneath iron chains. If provoked, they transform into grotesque monsters of ink and leather. She hopes to become a warden, charged with protecting the kingdom from their power.
Then an act of sabotage releases the library’s most dangerous grimoire. Elisabeth’s desperate intervention implicates her in the crime, and she is torn from her home to face justice in the capital. With no one to turn to but her sworn enemy, the sorcerer Nathaniel Thorn, and his mysterious demonic servant, she finds herself entangled in a centuries-old conspiracy. Not only could the Great Libraries go up in flames, but the world along with them.
As her alliance with Nathaniel grows stronger, Elisabeth starts to question everything she’s been taught—about sorcerers, about the libraries she loves, even about herself. For Elisabeth has a power she has never guessed, and a future she could never have imagined.
Sorcery of Thorns Pin
This month’s pin is designed by Brio and Brandish and features a quote from the book along with SILAS. I love Silas. He’s the cutest.
(Please read this book so you can share my Silas love) <3
Key Gel Pen
I can’t lie, I’m a huge fan of the cute pens OwlCrate includes every once in a while and this is no exception! I use my cactus one almost every day.
Coaster Set
This coaster set illustrated by KDP Letters is gorgeous, quotes by: Sarah J Maas, Victoria Schwab, JK Rowling and Rachel Caine.
Coffee
I don’t drink coffee so in a way I’m kinda happy this was the Beauty and the Beast item purely because FairyLoot did an entire box full of BatB items a few months back so… I’m drowning in things now? It’s okay because I love the fairytale but I’m glad this wasn’t the Strange the Dreamer item. It’s from Book Beau and I’m sure one of my friends will probably love it!
Tote Bag
Hello yes I am in love with Laini Taylor’s Strange the Dreamer so yep, I ADORE THIS TOTE BAG. It’s designed by Stella Bookish Art and it may well be my hundredth item from her in book boxes but hey, they’re all beautiful!
Metal Bookends
Inspired by The Chronicles of Narnia, this bookend set is designed by Hey Atlas Creative and you know what I love? It’s both of them. In one box.
Overall
‘Essentially OwlCrate can do no wrong in my eyes though…’
I mean, I said that last month, and it’s true, again. I love the book so much (bonus that it’s my favourite colour) and the pin is B-E-A-UTIFUL. Plus the tote bag from one of my favourite books?! These items alone are worth the money this box costs me, and the coasters and bookends are so well made. Definitely a fan of the cute pen too. If I liked coffee, I’d love the entire contents. But I’m sure I can find someone who’ll love it so still a win!
