This month I’ve been pretty much spending the majority of it settling into my awesome new job, I’ve not had quite as much time for reading but I’m hoping that I can read more once again once I’ve settled in.

Reading

Well… this is slightly embarrassing! I only managed to finish four books this month however I do have pretty good reasons for that. I’m hoping that May will be better… I’m already two books behind on my OwlCrate books also…

I’ve also been listening to The Belles by Dhonielle Clayton whenever I get chance to, mostly on my way to work, and I love it so far! It’s such an different idea and there are some great twists to make it even more intriguing.

I managed to get a signed proof of Everless too this month thanks to the amazing BKMRK team! They had a live Instagram event with the lovely Sara Holland and I was fangirling so much. If you didn’t already know, Everless is one of my favourite books because reading it last year set me off reading regularly again.

Life

Well, I’ve started my job as a Corporate Document Writer and I can safely say that I love my job! I actually enjoy my work for once, and to top it off everyone I work with is lovely.

Cinema wise… two magical words… Infinity. War. I won’t spoil this for anyone because I’d hate to have it spoiled for myself, however… This movie destroyed me. That is all.

There have been some little things I’ve been up to as well, couple of meals out and that kind of thing. But otherwise it’s been a fairly quiet month overall.

Next Month…

Okay so I promise that my May wrap-up post will be a lot more interesting! I’ve already attended a book event this month which I’ll talk about then, and at the end of this month I’m heading to London for Heroes and Villains Fan Fest again (my mum’s promised we can check out the Harry Potter places too – win win)!
