Have you ever seen a cover this pretty before? It’ll come as no surprise to anyone, but I’m a big fan of anything involving dragons, so when @claudiaboon_author offered me the chance to review Leaves or Remedy I jumped at the chance (thank you for the eARC 💚). Leaves of Remedy is set in an original fantasy world where dragons are said to have been the creator for everything, including the reason the sun and moon rise each day. It starts off with one of the POVs, Eilika, being completely fed up of her life on a farm (and an announced arranged marriage to an older gentleman she has no care for taking part in) and instead she’s craving the idea of going on an adventure. She gets her wish when she happens upon an Earth Dragon egg (one of the rarest dragons) and suddenly that ends up being the start of her grand adventure! There are a few different POVs in the book but my favourites were Eilika and Aster. Eilika is headstrong and Aster is super caring with a secret that is pretty important in this world with a dying Earth dragon… and we don’t just get sorcerers and dragons but we’re treated to stone golems and other creatures in this world too! Claudia has built a fascinating little fantasy world on the whole, and from the half way point things really start to pick up. If you’re looking for a new YA fantasy book heavily based around dragons I’d say this is definitely worth a try! (Releasing in English tomorrow! And just 99p for the E-book for the first week too!) ✨

So I finally read Girls of Storm and Shadow by @girlinthelens after being lucky enough to pick up an ARC at the last YALC… I had to wait because the first book was amazing and I didn’t want to wait too long for the next one (also I knew I’d be an emotional mess reading because of the beautiful writing and characters) but I’m digressing, I cried a lot reading this and loved it just as much as the first. I can’t wait for the final instalment and I just wanna see Lei happy more than anything. 🤞🏻 full review is on my website! 💖

I seriously loved this box, the customisations of the book were so perfect for it! 🥰 and I should hopefully get my July box soon too…….. wonder why I’m so excited for that! 👀 but all of the boxes this month from FairyLoot, Illumicrate and OwlCrate so far have been amazing and it has definitely felt like Christmas with so many at once! Hi don’t mind me just another post to appreciate this beautiful pastel cover and say you should absolutely go read Six Crimson Cranes by @elimpix and fall in love with the world too 🥰 it has dragons, magic, demons and a sassy paper crane who is genuinely super cute. Swoon worthy romance too which is a little like enemies to lovers (more like hating to lovers though really, but it’s adorable nonetheless)! 💖
