🧡 What’s a book you think is perfect as a summer read? 🧡

My review for Private Label by kellyyanghk is now live on my site but for a quick little summary… this was so cute, I think it’s definitely a beautiful summer read. Heartbreaking whilst also heartwarming in a lot of places. It’s a book aimed at the older range of YA, mostly because it deals with some very difficult issues (the girl main character’s mother is diagnosed with cancer), but there are also some older relationship issues she has to deal with (and honestly I think the topics covered are very important for young adults of the older age range, I was really happy to see them being covered and in a sensitive way) 💖

I laughed and cried whilst reading this book, so it was an easy 5-star and I’d love to read more of Kelly’s work now! 🧡

I fell head over heels in love with Daughter of the Moon Goddess (book one) when I read an eARC last December and I’ve been excited for this book… well, before I even read book one really! 🥹

Releasing November 10th in the UK, I’m planning to get stuck in as soon as possible! 😍💖

Is there a book you’re excited to read… but also slightly scared about reading? 🥲

For me, hands down it’s The Priory of the Orange Tree (and if I had read 10 pages for every time I’d said that, I probably would have finished reading it… twice by now).

I’m very certain that I will love this story, there’s so much about it that I’m excited for but ~the size~ scares me! Even still, I’ve already preordered A Day of Fallen Night and I am very very excited for that! (It also has a stunning cover like Priory if you’ve not seen yet!)

What’s something you always gravitate towards when it comes to covers? ✨

I have a huge love for covers with art by afterblossom_art on them, they’re always so stunning! I think it helps that usually the books are usually amongst my faves… only one of the ones if you swipe is one I haven’t read and adored (YET), but I’m planning on reading it very soon and expecting to adore it as well 🥹💜

Hey loves! Sorry I’ve been chaotic and kind of quiet lately, cannot begin to describe how stressed the whole buying a house thing has got me BUT mortgage is approved so should [hopefully] be plain sailing from here on out! So expect to see me raving over books more often! 🥰

Like this one! One of my latest double copies thanks to Fairyloot (the edge of their edition is peeking out to the right with the lovely lemons), This Vicious Grace by Emily Thiede was a unique fantasy and I really enjoyed the characters, especially the main romance because it was just *chef’s kiss* for me! 🍋
