Hey loves! How’s everyone doing? 💕 I kept meaning to post recently but I went away for a little bit to London to see Ateez and then I’ve kind of been under the weather since, but starting to feel better and I want to talk about pretty books again so hi! QOTD: What’s the prettiest looking book you’ve seen recently? 🥹💕 My post today shows two sets of edges of Sue Lynn Tan’s beautiful books, the first is the Fairyloot editions of Daughter of the Moon Goddess, Heart of the Sun Warrior and Tales of the Celestial Kingdom, alongside the Waterstones edition of Immortal 🫶🏻 The extra edge on the second photo is the Fairyloot edition of Immortal, which is probably safe to show by now but just in case I’ve hidden it! ✨ #suelynntan #immortal #daughterofthemoongoddess #heartofthesunwarrior #talesofthecelestialkingdom #harpervoyager #harpervoyageruk

QOTD: What are you currently reading/watching/listening too? 💕 Ad / PR Thank you @harpervoyager_uk for this gorgeous proof of The Legend of Meneka by Kritika H. Rao! It’s my current read and I’m loving all of the beautiful references to Indian mythology 💫 Meneka is such a fiesty main character too!! And her energy with Kaushika 🥹 I’m taking this away with me next week and excited to binge read it on my long train trips! 🫶🏻 And if you like the sound of the synopsis, you can go pick up a finished copy right now! But I’ll have my review up ASAP, and before that gorgeous Fairyloot edition goes on presale 👀 ✨ Synopsis ✨ Across the realms, celestial dancers known as apsaras are revered for their beauty, allure, and enchanting magic. Hey loves! First reel in a while but one full of happy vibes so 🥹 If you’re new here I fell in love with Daughter of the Moon Goddess by @suelynntan late 2021, but I still remember reading a little bonus excerpt from @harpervoyager_uk around a couple of months before eARCs were available and falling in love with her writing that early 😭 Immortal is Sue’s fourth book and I’m so unbelievably glad I finally got to meet her when the book released in the UK on Thursday (go run and grab it if you haven’t already!!), the event with @elizachanwrites was hilarious and super fun! This first part of the reel is a small part of many many laughs 🥹🫶🏻💕 I got a fourth copy of Immortal signed also, but I’ll save that for a bit so I don’t spoil anyone 🥹 (it is also a ✨stunner✨ though!) The Girl Who Fell Beneath the Sea by Axie Oh, @litjoycrate edition! 🥹💖 QOTD: What was the last favourite book that you bought another copy of? Whether it’s a special edition, e-book or audio book! (Or what was the last book you reread if you can’t think of any 🥰) Obviously in this last week I’ve had a couple of copies of a new release arrive (will share after taking some new photos tomorrow!!) but when I saw Litjoy was doing a special edition of this stunning book I knew I had to grab it!! I was in Prague on holiday at the time but made sure I’d be in the hotel when it dropped so I could be 100% sure I preordered 🥹 (This was the new edge in my last post too, I adore the edges 🐉🥹💖) I also love how it’s annotated and has illustrations in, all of the artwork is just stunning really! If you haven’t read this book yet and you’re a fan of Ghibli inspired books then here’s another reminder to pick it up (and preorder Axie’s The Floating World, psyched for that duology!!) ✨ Hope everyone is doing well! QOTD: What’s a book from the last year you’ve read and adored? Doesn’t matter if it came out last year, was read last year or was a comfort reread! 💕 A wee bit late with this mini wrap up of some of my 2024 faves but better late than never, right? I didn’t get to read as many books as I’d hoped last year due to illness-related reasons, but there were some fabulous ones that either came out last year or I read last year! 🥹 Absolute stand outs for me included (in no particular order):

💫 Song of the Six Realms by Judy I. Lin I adored these books and the worlds/stories in them, they’re all living rent-free in my head still! 🫶🏻💕 (I would have included some more but I had to grab books quickly before I went to my mum’s for Christmas, I’ll make a part two this weekend when I get chance to take more photos! 💕) Excited for some follow-ups and new books from these authors too!! 🥰 ✨ I’m hoping to read more this year 🤞🏻 started off strong by finishing Nine Tailed by Jayci Lee (loved!
