QOTD: What’s a book outside of your normal reading genre that you’re hoping to read soon?

I don’t read much horror but when this book came in my Evernight subscription I was so happy, the design is bizarre but it gives Junji Ito vibes and I’m so here for that!

I have a similar vibed book I’ll be taking photos of this week too that I’m excited to read also 🥹 because obviously I HAD to pick up Judy I. Lin’s new book ☺️

I’ve been reading The Gods Below by Andrea Stewart when I can and I’m enjoying it so much!! There’s so much going on in the story and I am a sucker for multi POV done well 🥹 magic, gods and heists 👌🏻 full review coming soon! 🫶🏻

I have this copy and my Goldsboro edition arrived this week too! Family photo will be coming soon with my review 🥰

This last week has been a bit full on for me (mostly good things!) I FINALLY stopped being unwell after 67 days non-stop (the day I was due to go to the docs, figures eh?) and it was my mum’s birthday so I spent some time with her also.

We got tattoos on Wednesday, a swallow I’ve wanted forever (my mum and nan both had one in the same place all my life) and I got an extra lil 81 behind my ear 🥹 (funnily enough, did not hurt!). Related to 81 (half), imma grab tickets for Ateez this week and PSYCHED.

Hopefully I’ll be posting more often now 🤞🏻 I feel really guilty when I’m not well enough to read or post on here.

Y’all this Illumicrate edition of Goddess of the River by Vaishnavi Patel low-key blew me away when I saw it! The edges are so pretty 🥹

I may be slightly biased as I have this flower tattooed on me like (purple not pink though). The book sounds brilliant too! 🫶🏻

🪷 Synopsis 🪷

How’s everyone been? I haven’t been the best as I’ve had some medical issues for… 52 days now. I can go back to the doctors for investigation if it continues to like 70 days (🙃) so right now I’m just taking strong painkillers as much as possible 🥲

I’m also buying kpop plushies a lot, because y’know comfort purchases are a must 🥹
