How do you feel about cover changes for special editions? Or even just cover changes for international editions? 💕

For the most part I really love them in general (normally brings out the collector in me though oops), but especially when the change is this pretty! 🥹

This is the @faecrate edition of Flowerheart by Catherine Bakewell, and the original cover is pretty but this art style is just gorgeous! 😍

If you haven’t checked out The Darkening yet then I’d definitely recommend it if you’re a fan of enemies-to-lovers and morally grey characters! It’s set in a fantasy world trapped within the eye of encroaching storm, and after the ending of book one I’m psyched that I can pick up book two soon! 💜

Happy book birthday @ay_chao! 🥳🎉

Shanghai Immortal is out today and I can’t wait for more to read this book and experience the brilliance of A.Y. Chao’s world-building and the wonderful Lady Jing 💕

Last night I had the honour of being invited to the book launch for Shanghai Immortal and it was such a lovely evening!! I got to play mahjong for the first time, which was awesome because it’s one of the games that features in the book. I’m definitely after a set to play with friends now! 😂

A zither player was playing the most gorgeous music all night, there was a gorgeous cover cake complete with a dragon too and we all got gift bags after!

I’ll take photos of the contents once I’m back up north but for now have a little collage, including a photo of the gorgeous cake! 🫶🏻💕
